Project Overview
This project tackled a recurring compliance challenge in pod cleaning management at a semiconductor facility. Raw cleaning records lacked automation, standardized formats, and actionable KPIs, leading to missed cleans, compliance risks, and wasted operational effort.
My Approach
• Extracted and centralized raw cleaning records from SharePoint to serve as the project’s single source of truth.
• Cleaned and standardized raw log data in Excel for reliable reporting.
• Built helper columns and dynamic formulas to calculate cleaning intervals and overdue status.
• Automated executive KPIs (average days since clean, overdue pods, leaderboards, weekly averages).
• Applied color-coded conditional formatting to instantly flag compliance risk.
• Created a live dashboard interface for operational transparency and rapid decision-making.

The Pod Cleaning Dashboard was built from the ground up, starting with raw, unstructured cleaning logs extracted from SharePoint and evolving through multiple rounds of data cleaning, formula automation, and KPI logic. Here’s a look at how the project came together behind the scenes:

Original static dataset before transformation. No automation, KPIs, or workflow accountability; this served as the baseline for all improvements.

Cleaned and standardized the dataset in Excel with formatted dates, clear headers, and a consistent table structure. This working copy was prepped for KPI logic and dashboard automation.

Added a dynamic formula to automate days-since-clean calculations, enabling real-time compliance tracking and dashboard visualizations.

Stoplight conditional formatting flags overdue pods (red), at-risk pods (yellow), and compliant pods (green) in real time. Custom rules automate risk visualization, making it dead simple for teams to spot compliance issues and focus resources where they’re needed most.
